SAUL BASS / From Hitchcock to Kubrick, Hollywood title-sequence pioneer celebrated with stylish video Google Doodle
I thought this was really interesting! Google's homepage is celebrating 93rd birthday memory of Saul Bass. Google has created mini title sequence in a combination of Bass's work from Hitchcock to Kubrick, and many more. Bass created more than 40 title sequences more than four decade career and received an Academy Award for documentary work. It is truly an honor seeing Saul's work, and is missed. Stanley Pickle, Award winning short-motion animation film
This is defiantly award winning short films I enjoyed looking at.
Stanley Pickle, award winning stop-motion animated short film was
created by UK filmmaker Vicky Mather.
The film uses a technique called ‘Pixilation’, its where actors are
animated
as rather then to stop-motion puppets. and Stanley Pickle was shot
frame by
frame. This took two sets and two different locations by using a still
camera and edited in a program called Dragon
Stop-Motion Software. This reminded me of a project I had to create in
2D animation class and spent hours creating stop motion animation.
Overall I thought this was interesting to see so this is why I shared
this in my blog for the class to see.

REEL FX motion
There is many motion graphics I liked about this site as well as the animation video they have created. On top, the logo has a series of picture animation every time you were to click on it. I thought that was a nice fine detail that looked really nice. But what stood out to me was the South University animation that grab my attention. Reel Fx celebrated The Ambitious, this was created for the Richards Group out of Dallas,Tx as a cilent. This was a :60 animation that uses color and type in motion in unique clever way.
